True Contemplation is a free beautiful elegant blogger XML template based on a Douglas Bowman's classic template, i.e. Minima Black. It has 3 columns (and one footer section) that is still minimalist. All of these columns are ready to widgetize. The basic color is grey, but you can easily change most of the colors and fonts through your Blogger dashboard.

The header is flexible. You can change the beautiful header image to anything you want without any coding.

If you want to use your own image for the header, the image width has to be 512 pixels with 296 pixels height. All you need is then just go to your the Layout > Page Elements > Header Edit tab.

Last but not least, the minimalist "Read more..." expandable posts link keeping the representative picture is available to shorten posts.

I saw a beautiful elegant template last week. The name is Cellar Heat Premium Blogger Template. It is an adaptation of Cellar Heat Dark Wordpress theme.

Cellar Heat WordPress theme is originally created by Evan Eckard. The design of this theme focuses on patterns and typography. It is designed especially for Smashing Magazine and its readers. Since November 13, 2008, it has been available for Blogger, especially for MagzNetwork readers.

I like this template so much, that I decide to use it for one of my blogs. However, this is rather contrastive in my view. I, therefore, make some modifications. Here is the result: Cellar Heat Dark Uncontrast.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Download and extract the zip file.
Login to your Blogger Dashboard
Go to Layout > Edit HTML
Upload XML Template file (DO NOT copy and paste the code directly to template editor box)
Find this code:

PLEASE DO NOT PREVIEW YOUR BLOG. Go to Layout > Page Element
Edit “Top Menu” widget. Add at least one link, for example you can make a link to your blog homepage with “Home” anchor text
Edit “Recent Posts” widget. Change Feed URL to
http://YOURBLOGNAME.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
Go to Settings > Formatting, choose TIMESTAMP FORMAT style: “Wednesday, Januari 30, 2008″
Finish. Preview your blog to see the result.
